First Birthday Cake Smash Photography

I am trying to catch up on blogging, and wanted to share Kynli's first birthday session we did recently.  Kynli's family chose a Wild One theme and I adore her gallery of images!

Kynli was the happiest little girl and shared so many smiles with me for her session.  I styled her setups with pink and peach, to match the theme for the cake smash,  Each little romper she wore was adorable and looked so cute on her!  I just love all of her expressions we were able to capture.  

For the Wild One setup I designed a teepee with flowers and arrows and love how it all came together.  Kynli's family loved it too!  She did great eating her cake and even had fun adding icing to her hair.  At the end of her session she was so silly and shared her newly learned "growl" with me.  It made her parents laugh and I captured an image of it and will definitely share.  Thank you again Chelsi and Jesse for choosing me to capture your daughter's first birthday memories!

Studio Maternity Photographer Columbus Ohio

Aziza first contacted me about planning a maternity and newborn session for the baby boy they are soon expecting!  I was happy we were able to get her session scheduled.  She was almost 39 weeks for her maternity session and looked absolutely beautiful!

Aziza brought a beautiful baby blue dress for her session and also chose from my collection as well.  She chose the white lace top, pink skirt and floral crown as well and both looked beautiful on her!  For almost 39 weeks, this mama was glowing!

I love the studio images we captured for and her husband to remember their pregnancy.  I will share some of my favorites.  I especially love the black and white image, as well as the image of her on the pink chair.  

I can't wait to meet their sweet baby boy in a few weeks for their newborn session.  Thank you again Ghanem for choosing me to capture these memories for you!

Maternity Photography Columbus, OH

Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Brandy and her husband for a maternity session in my studio!  I love meeting my newborn families before the arrival of their baby!

Brandy and I planned her session together.  She brought the beautiful red gown, and I thought the pink one she chose from my collection was perfect since she's expecting a baby girl next week!  She's just glowing and I love the gallery images from her session.

We talked about the preparing and arrival for their baby girl.   Mom and dad have planned a Disney themed nursery.  I love Disney myself and can't wait to see how it all turned out!  Soon I will be welcoming their sweet baby girl for her newborn session.  I can't wait to capture more memories for you Halligan family!

Columbus Ohio Children and Birthday Photography 

I don't usually share personal photos on my blog, but I want to share my daughter's images for her third birthday party we had last weekend!  Yesterday I shared the images I did of the glitter session with her and you can view those

Our children are both obsessed with all things Disney and so am I!  Last Halloween they were Moana and Maui for trick or treat.  They have both loved the movie Moana since tit cam out.  We took a 10 day family vacation to Disney this past November so I wasn't surprised when our daughter asked for a Moana themed 3rd birthday party!

I knew the party would be so fun to plan.  All the Hawaiian and luau themed decorations at the party store and ideas I found on pinterest helped with my crafting ideas!  A few weeks before the party I thought it would be awesome if I could find "Moana" to come to her party.  With some searching I spoke with Elle from Columbus Party Princess Productions.  I was so excited to find someone and love how much fun the party was!

We didn't tell our daughter that Moana was coming.  It was a complete surprise when she arrived.  The smile and joy on our daughter's face was priceless!!  Moana stayed for an hour.  She played a game of Moana says with the kids, did face painting, read the kids the story of "Moana" and sang "How Far I'll Go" from the movie!  She also led the singing of Happy Birthday and stayed for gift opening.  All of the children enjoyed the party and it was a wonderful experience.
