Columbus Ohio Maternity and Pregnancy Photographer

I met one of the sweetest couples ever; Hope & Seth!  This adorable couple will soon be welcoming their first baby, a little girl!  I can't wait to meet her!

We first met for our maternity session at Dawes Arboretum.  The flowers were gorgeous and just what Hope had in mind.  However, the weather had other ideas and rained on us!  We captured some beautiful images that night, but had to reschedule a few times due to weather to complete their gallery.  The evening we met for the second time was perfect!  The love Hope and Seth share in amazing and natural!  I didn't even have to do much posing, they were great.  I love to capture the true love in a couple.

I'm working with a local vendor, who is a client of mine, that makes and sells maternity gowns.  Hope chose the cream one to wear and she looked gorgeous in it!

During the session we talked about how they met and how excited they are for their little girl's arrival.  Violet is so loved already and I can't wait to see them all as a family of three.  Thank you again Shippy family for choosing me to capture these memories for you!

Newborn baby photographer Columbus Ohio

I had the honor of meeting Allie's parents before she was even born!  When mom found my website we found out we had something in common; we're both medical providers and work in a hospital setting!  Amanda booked an in home maternity session and newborn session for their baby and they didn't know if it was a boy or girl!

I was so excited to find out they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Allie!  She was born a few days late and I met her when she was 12 days old.  This beautiful little girl was not interested in sleeping though.  She enjoyed showing off her pretty eyes!  She looked so pretty in the creams and soft pink setups we did.

With lots of work and soothing, I was able to get about 30 minutes of sleep from her and capture some adorable images for her family!  I also had a videographer with me during her session to film a promo video for that I can't wait to share!

Newborn Photographer Columbus, OH

Newborn photography is truly my passion.  I worked hard over the past few years learning and trying to perfect my talent to give my clients the most perfect images and memories of their babies and children!  Newborn photography is definitely specialized and I put my whole heart into my craft and business.

I decided I was ready to expand my knowledge of newborn photography by mentoring with a professional newborn photographer that offered Newborn Photography workshops to help me perfect my posing, lighting, styling, and everything that goes into a newborn session.  I researched a few photographers based on the type of images they produce and what I one day hope my images will be!

Bianca with Photography by Axsys Design is a newborn photographer in Toccoa, GA.  I've followed her work for a while and simply love the images she creates!  I decided to call and inquire with Bianca about the mentoring opportunity.  She was so sweet to talk to, I knew right away I was ready to make the investment and couldn't wait to learn from her!

At the end of January I traveled to Atlanta, GA and spent two days with Bianca at her Toccoa, GA studio.  My experience I had was simply amazing!  I couldn't have asked for more!  The first afternoon I arrived, Bianca and I discussed business, marketing and some of the basics of newborn photography at dinner.  She then taught me all about stylizing a session, choosing colors, props, and setting everything up to be perfect!  I'm jealous of her prop collection!!

Bianca is also the owner of the amazing Newborn Posing Cloud system for newborn photography.  She created a special bean bag and posing pillow to help with posing newborns.  She taught me how to use the products to improve my work flow and how to perfect the bean bag setup.  I loved it so much I bought it to use in my studio.

The second day we spent hours together photographing two babies and their parents.  The first session Bianca styled and taught me all about angles.  She let me take a shot of each pose and setup and made sure I had the angles just right!  The second session I was able to style and pose and she was right there to assist me.  It really was an awesome opportunity because I got a lot of hands on experience, which was very important to me when choosing a 1:1 newborn mentor!

Bianca has such a huge heart and is very passionate about newborn photography.  I am very thankful for the experience I received.  She was welcoming and shared her knowledge with me.  For that I am forever grateful!  I'm so excited to further my newborn photography and use all the new skills she taught me!

Newborn Photographer Columbus Ohio

I had the honor of meeting this sweet family, The Marshall family from Columbus, Ohio.  They welcomed the most beautiful baby boy, Grant.  I met him for his newborn session at just 10 days old!

Grant was awesome for his session.  I just loved all his hair.  Once we finally got him into a deep sleep, he was perfect and let me do many different poses with him.  One of my favorite images from his session in the image where he all curled up in the womb pose.  He curled so perfectly!  I was even able to capture some smiles for his family.  

Grant's big sister, Scarlett is beautiful too!  The sibling images I captured for this family are some of my favorites.  This sweet little girl made us work hard for these, but they are so worth it!

I know Grant is so loved by his family.  Thank you Marshall family for choosing me as your newborn photographer.  I hope to see your beautiful family again, soon!  May you forever cherish these memories.
